 Employee Engagement: The Challenge
 
With organizations poised to grow at velocity, employee engagement is increasingly becoming the key to corporate performance. Management has been stretched continually to come up with “Out-of-the-box” ideas. Their approach has jumped to and fro, from cajoling out performance through elaborately organized fun events for the teams, to nerve raking corporate breakthrough workshops. However, the trend continues to be the same … de-motivation, boredom, confusion, burning-out and of course the predictable fall out i.e. “ATTRITION”. The talent continues their never ending search for fulfillment and the management continues to seek performance.
 
So what is afflicting our organizations? Is it the lack of right set of self motivated and passionate people? We know from experience that this in itself is not enough. Even with significant increase in compensation, majority of employees live paycheck to paycheck due to lack of financial literacy. With stress in personal life, it is almost impossible to expect superior performance and client service.
 
Organizing financial planning workshop for employees addresses one of the key drivers of employee engagement – “Leadership’s interest in personal well-being of the employees”.  Fulfilling Dreams : The Workshop (Session l)
 
Cornerstone offers “Fulfilling Dreams” a half day workshop which aims to impart the basic concepts of prudent financial management to the participants and help them get a better understanding of how to take charge of their finances and their dreams.
 
In our highly interactive sessions, the participants first understand the basic concepts and then the coach helps them apply these concepts to their personal lives. The workshop will:
 
Help the participants identify and analyze their current state of finances
Define their dreams and commitment in life that will cost them the most money e.g. children's education, building their own house
Develop an action plan for achieving these goals
Identify their approach and behavioral pattern towards money
Understanding cash flow management and develop a decision making framework
Discuss the various avenues for investments and their tax implications
Help in understanding the secrets to powerful management of money
Make a personal retirement plan
 
 
 Fulfilling Dreams : The Workshop (Session ll )
 
Once, the basic concepts have been understood, the participants go on to play Cornerstone's “Money Game”…a totally engaging fun filled game which puts to test their understanding and application of the concepts covered in session 1. This game, specially designed to simulate real life events faced by current generation, provides an opportunity for participants to make choices and experience its impact. It helps them identify their recurring behaviours and habits and brings home the realization that wealth creation is clearly a function of better management rather than just a higher salary.
 
By the end of the workshop, the participants would have made their own financial plan in an easy to use workbook designed and provided by us and mastered the concept of cash-flow management & decision making framework. The participants leave the workshop armed with the tools and a roadmap to a powerful future.
